It’s high time for Pride

PAX Labs celebrate the life and legacy of Dennis Peron.

San Francisco wouldn’t be the city it is today if it wasn’t for Dennis Peron. The LGBTQ+ activist fought tirelessly throughout his life to deliver care through cannabis to AIDS patients. He was the co-author of Proposition 215 in 1996, which was the country’s first medical legalization initiative.

Inspired by his actions for good, local cannabis vaporizer brand PAX Labs are encouraging everyone this June to be a force for good. They’re leading the charge by pledging, along with their brand partners, nearly $50,000 to the GLBT Historical Society, the San Francisco non-profit committed to collecting, preserving and providing accessible exhibits on the LGBTQ+ community’s history, culture and arts. The pledge will support the non-profit’s cause in building the country’s first LGBTQ+ museum in San Francisco, and a portion will support the creation of an exhibit highlighting the work of Peron.

For June, PAX is also partnering with SF icon Juanita MORE! and established musical artist Jenny Lewis to share what it means to live this theme, how they embody being a force for good, and why it’s important to the larger community. Juanita MORE! has also

enlisted some of her favorite artists to design artworks for the PAX Era, PAX’s device for exclusive use with pods filled with concentrate and sold by PAX’s brand partners.

Take inspiration from Peron, Juanita MORE! and Lewis, and share how you’re a force for good this Pride with the hashtag, #PAXpride.
